Report: Pa. man killed trying to break up domestic dispute
TURTLE CREEK, Pa. - A Pennsylvania man died after being struck in the head while trying to break up a domestic fight between his neighbors, reports CBS Pittsburgh.
According to police, James Payne, 58, of Turtle Creek, died at Forbes Regional Hospital on Sunday.
Payne's neighbor, Danny Washington, 30, was allegedly beating his wife when Payne stepped in. Washington then allegedly struck Payne in the head, reports the station.
Payne's death has been ruled a homicide, according to the station.
Turtle Creek Police arrested Washington at his home Saturday night on a charge of aggravated assault. Police say he could face a homicide charge, CBS Pittsburgh reports.
