Paul Rudd invites fans over his mom's house after Royals game

Who wouldn't want to party with Paul Rudd?

The 45-year-old actor is charming, funny -- and he just seems like an all around cool guy. On Wednesday, he proved that he knows how to have fun during an interview with KMBC News after his favorite baseball team, the Kansas City Royals, landed a spot in the World Series for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Rudd was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, and has been a longtime fan of the Royals. He showed off his team spirit in a post-game local TV interview in which he jokingly invited everyone over his mom's house for kegger to celebrate the big win.

"Hey, party at my mom's, man. She's out of town, it's going to be sweet," Rudd said.

We'd love to know if anyone took him up on the "offer."

When Rudd's not in the stands, he's busy on the set, filming the upcoming film "Ant-Man" and lending his voice the animated flick, "Sausage Party."
