Paul McCartney turned away at Tyga's Grammys after-party

Being a Beatle isn't enough to get into Tyga's Grammy after-party, apparently.

Paul McCartney was denied entrance to the bash at Argyle nightclub in Hollywood on Monday, and he wasn't the only Grammy winner to get turned away: His pals Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins were all told they were not welcome at the party.

The trio, who have more than 30 Grammy Awards between them, even tried a second time. TMZ has a video of the run-in, during which McCartney shouts, "How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit."

After they were unable to get into the club, they left and went to Hyde nightclub for the Republic Records party.

Later, when TMZ caught up with Tyga, he seemed unaware that McCartney had been turned away, and called the singer "a legend."

Tyga later clarified on Twitter that he had no part in rejecting McCartney at the club. He wrote, "Why would I deny @PaulMcCartney stop it. He's a legend," and "I don't control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left."
