Paul Feig making new "Ghostbusters" film starring "hilarious women"
Paul Feig is the man to call about the next "Ghostbusters" movie.
The "Bridesmaids" director confirmed on Twitter that he's making a new "Ghostbusters" film starring "hilarious women," and that he's writing it with his "The Heat" collaborator Kate Dippold.
It's official. I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call.

The Hollywood Reporter said earlier Wednesday that Dippold had been tapped to co-write the script with Feig.
It was first reported back in August that Feig was in talks to helm a third "Ghostbusters" film that would feature comedic actresses in the ghostbusting roles. At the time, Variety noted the project would be a reboot and not a sequel.
Now that it's all official, let the casting speculation begin -- Bill Murray's already weighed in with some suggestions.
