Paul Curry after murder arrest: "I'm in big trouble"

Jailhouse phone call: "I'm in big trouble"

A day after being arrested for the 1994 murder of his former wife, Linda, Paul Curry phoned his wife, Teresa, from jail.

The conversation from Nov. 10, 2010, was recorded by authorities and played at Curry's 2014 trial:

Paul Curry: Hey. I'm in trouble. I'm under arrest. I'm in jail.

Teresa: Tell me what's going on. I don't understand.

Paul Curry: I'm in big trouble ... I gotta tell you, it looks bad ... I mean, other than the fact that there's no physical evidence that I did it and I didn't do it ... they could put me away to prison ... they're serious about this.
