Passage: Posthumous songs from the King of Pop

It happened this week . . . a posthumous song from The King of Pop.

"Love Never Felt So Good," a song written with Paul Anka and recorded by Michael Jackson back in 1983, had its premiere Thursday night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, complete with a dance-along performance by musical superstar Usher.

It's the first of eight previously-unreleased songs that will appear on the album, "Xscape," scheduled for release a week from Tuesday.

Michael Jackson died in 2009 from a drug overdose administered by his doctor. He was just 50 years old.

A child singing-sensation, he grew up into a frequently controversial adulthood in full view of the world.

Jackson died with a string of hits, and since his death his estate has earned more that a billion dollars.

Now, with this new compilation of songs he recorded during the 1980s and '90s, Michael Jackson is back in the spotlight again . . . right where he always wanted to be.
