Parents arrested in Minnesota for Colorado newborn's murder

CASS COUNTY, Minnesota --Two people from Colorado wanted for murder in the death of their four-week-old baby have been arrested in Cass County, Minnesota.

The baby died on June 20 in Parachute, Colo., reports CBS affiliate KXJB. Authorities did not release the cause of death. But police in Parachute began searching for the parents soon after the baby's death. The father, Matthew Ogden, was wanted on a first degree murder warrant and the baby's mother, Phyllis Wyatt, was wanted for child abuse causing death.

Just before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, the Cass County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, arrested Matthew Ogden and Phyllis Wyatt, without incident.

Authorities in Minnesota received a tip on a possible location in the Cass Lake area. Law enforcement officials, along with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, responded to the area and found both Ogden and Wyatt inside a residence. They were taken into custody without incident.
