Pamela Anderson: I am cured of Hepatitis C

Pamela Anderson was so thrilled to announce that she's cured of Hepatitis C that she posted a nude pic to Instagram as a celebration over the weekend.

"I am CURED. I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment," the former "Baywatch" star wrote alongside the photo. "It will be more available soon. Doctors to start prescribing breakthrough Hepatitis C drug

Anderson, 48, announced in 2002 that she was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, which affects the liver and can be contracted by sharing needles or having sexual intercourse. At the time, she had said she contracted from Tommy Lee, drummer of Mötley Crüe.

In September, Anderson opened up about Hepatitis C during a visit to "Watch What Happens Live": "I am taking medicine right now, they have come up with a cure. I should be cured -- a 98 percent chance."

Earlier this year, Anderson parted ways with her husband Rick Salomon -- again.
