Pa. man gets prison for posting daughter's nude pics online

PHILADELPHIA - A 58-year-old Langhorne, Pa. man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for setting up a hidden camera in his teenage daughter’s bathroom and posting pictures he took of her and her friends on the internet, reports CBS Philly.

The defendant, whose name is being withheld to protect the identity of his victims, was sentenced to prison Tuesday in federal court and ordered to pay a fine of $300,000 within a week.

The defendant, an Ivy League-educated professional, set up a secret, motion-activated camera focused on his daughter’s bathroom. He admitted that it operated for a couple of years, starting when she was 14-years-old, reports the station.

Prosecutor Michelle Rotella said the man also targeted his daughter’s girlfriends and called the crimes “extremely heinous and vile.”

Rotella said the perpetrator took thousands of photographs of his daughter and her friends, cropped the photos to remove faces and then posted the images online.

Before sentencing, the defendant’s wife of 30 years and their adult son testified, asking for leniency.  Even the daughter sent a letter to the court saying she had forgiven him, reports the station.
