Oregon police on the prowl for "Portland Pooper"

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police and residents in southeast Portland are trying to identify a man seen defecating outside an office building several times in the past month, reports CBS affiliate KOIN.

They're calling him the "Portland Pooper."

A business owner whose cameras captured the man in the act plastered photos of the suspect's face around the neighborhood, the station reports. Now, police have identified that man as a suspect, and they're saying he could face charges of offensive littering.

The "Pooper" is pictured in a surveillance video published by KOIN.

"I find it interesting that he has toilet paper with him, it's very pre-planned," Catrina Salazar, who works at a nearby hair salon, told the station. "You just don't really know what to expect around here. People, they like do their own thing, they kind of march to the beat of their own drum."

The "Pooper's" latest offense was over the weekend, reports the station.

Anyone with information about the "Portland Pooper's" identity is asked to call Portland Police.
