Odd-looking dog raises eyebrows on Internet
It takes all kinds in this world, and that goes for dogs, too.
The Internet is abuzz Friday with views and commentary about an odd-looking dog up for adoption by the Humane Society in Moultrie, Ga.
The subject is a mongrel mutt of mythical propertions - sort of like a griffin or a sphinx or some other creature with an unlikely head on a different body.
In this case, it's a low-to-ground Dachshund body coupled with the fierce head and jaws of a Pit Bull.
"Hi! I'm Rami and I'm looking for my forever home. I'm a year-old Dachshund/Pit Bull mix. Yes, you're reading that right, and, no, you haven't gone crazy," says a Facebook post from the Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society.
"I'm full of energy. I don't like walking on a leash. I'm a sweetie pie, and love to run. I don't listen very well, so you'll need to take some time to train me. Because I tend to be a bit hyper, I might not be the best addition to a household with little kids. But I'm sure that all I need is a little lovin'. Will you take me home?"
