Note warns of cyanide in SUV, woman found dead inside

ABERDEEN, N.C. – A hazmat team responded to a North Carolina parking lot Monday night, after an SUV was found with a note on it warning not to open the car because cyanide salts had been used within, reports the Aberdeen Times.

Officials cleared the parking lot of the Food Lion grocery store in Aberdeen before crews used protective suits and electronic air monitors as they approached the vehicle, the paper reports.

Inside they found the body of a 44-year-old woman.

The woman, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the state medical examiner’s officer for autopsy.
