Nick Cannon starts freshman year of college at Howard University

LOS ANGELES -- Nick Cannon’s got talent -- and homework.

The host of “America’s Got Talent” and “Wild ‘n Out” has begun his freshman year at Howard University. Cannon posted photos on social media earlier this week of his first day on campus in Washington, D.C.

Cannon says in a statement that he “decided to obtain my first college degree from an institution that had a proven legacy of producing great minds.”

On Instagram, he posted a photo of himself in front of a Howard University sign, writing “Howard University Class of 2020.” Later in the week, he posted several quotes on Instagram about the importance of education.
