New York's LaGuardia Airport evacuated due to suspicious vehicle

NEW YORK New York Passengers at LaGuardia Airport reported that a terminal was evacuated late Thursday night due to a suspicious vehicle, CBS New York reported. Around 12:45 a.m., the vehicle appeared to have been towed away.

Video and photos from social media showed passengers leaving Terminal B at the airport during the 11 p.m. hour.

They reported a “strong military presence” at the airport, and photos showed people in army uniforms standing guard with long guns.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police confirmed they were investigating an unattended vehicle, but could not provide further information.
