New trailer arrives for "Avengers: Age of Ultron"

Marvel's heroes are battling a new villain -- and, apparently, one another -- in the latest trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

The newest look at the upcoming blockbuster was unveiled Monday night during the College Football National Championship game.

Destruction and chaos abound in the clip as Ultron, the villainous robot voiced by James Spader ("The Blacklist") wreaks havoc.

"I'm gonna tear you apart from the inside," he warns. And it looks like he succeeds - one scene shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth) grabbing Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) by the throat, and another has the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) facing off against Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in Iron Man's "Hulkbuster" suit.

Directed by Joss Whedon, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens in theaters on May 1.
