New "Rogue One" trailer debuts

After keeping "Star Wars" fans waiting while American swimmers racked up gold medals in Rio, a promised new trailer for "Rogue One" premiered during tonight's Olympic broadcast, before bowing online.

The extended look at the first standalone "Star Wars" adventure -- a prequel about the rebels' mission to steal plans for the original Death Star -- introduced tantalizing new footage featuring Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen and Ben Mendelsohn.

In addition, Princess Leia's dad makes a brief appearance as well.
