Netflix's "Daredevil" unveils first trailer

Marvel and Netflix have unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming "Daredevil" series, and it's a dark and broody (not to mention bloody) one.

It stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdoch, who was blinded as a child but possesses heightened other senses. He fights injustice by day as a lawyer, and at night as the vigilante hero of the show's title.

In the trailer, Cox asks forgiveness from a priest -- but it's not for things he's done, it's for what he's about to do. "I'm just trying to make my city a better place," he says.

"Marvel's Daredevil," also starring Vincent D'Onofrio, Rosario Dawson and Deborah Ann Woll, will premiere its 13-episode first season April 10 on Netflix. It's one of four original projects Marvel is developing with the online streaming service.
