"NCIS: New Orleans" stars give sneak peek ahead of series premiere

"NCIS: New Orleans" stars on making Big Easy home

Members of the latest "NCIS" team are getting cozy in their new Louisiana surroundings.

The cast of "NCIS: New Orleans" says the series will add new flavor to the popular crime franchise.

"Most of our bodies are found in the swamp, and have been eaten by alligators," reveals cast member Lucas Black, who plays Special Agent Christopher LaSalle.

Black is co-starring alongside Scott Bakula of "Quantam Leap" fame, who steps into the role of NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride -- a character based on a real-life investigator in the Crescent City.

Bakula said he and his co-stars are already starting to consider New Orleans their new home.

"Everyone here is invested in the town, we are not dropping in to solve a crime somewhere and then get on a plane and go somewhere else, we are here and are not going anywhere," Bakula promises.

"NCIS: New Orleans" premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
