NBA player robbed by 2 women he brought home from club, report says

NEW YORK -- New York Knicks forward Derrick Williams may have thought he had gotten lucky, but he ended up getting robbed, CBS New York reports.

Williams and friends were said to have been out at Up & Down, a downtown Manhattan club aptly named for the evening that started with Williams and his roommate taking two women home from the club with them after an earlier victory in the team's NBA game, and then waking up at 7 a.m. Sunday only to realize the women had disappeared with a Louis Vuitton backpack and an estimated $617,000 in jewelry.

Police are still investigating, and no arrests have been made, according to the station. Sources said there was no indication the incident was part of a larger pattern.
