Naya Rivera: "White people shower a lot more than ethnics"
"Glee" star Naya Rivera wants everyone to know that she doesn't shower every day, and that showering habits are different for various races -- or so she says.
"I think that white people shower a lot more than ethnics," Rivera said during her appearance on "The View" this week. "I think that showering more than once again, or every day, is such a white people thing."

"My mom is half-black, half-Puerto Rican. She showers every day, so I can say this," Rivera added, confusingly defending her comment. "But I can say I am now married to a white man [Ryan Dorsey], and he showers a lot."
Rivera tied the knot with actor Ryan Dorsey in July 2014, and apparently he is a very clean man.
"I mean like two, three times a day," Rivera said, explaining just how clean her husband likes to be. "And I'm like, 'What are you doing?'"
Soon after Rivera's comments aired, the Internet responded accordingly, taking Rivera to task for her comments that some found to be racist, ill-informed or simply gross.

The actress later took to Twitter to defend her comments, which she didn't exactly retract or apologize for, tweeting, "When you get out of the shower today, get a sense of humor. Love ya!"
