Natural gas pipeline blast shakes Texas homes some 60 miles away

REFUGIO, Texas -- A natural gas pipeline explosion early Wednesday morning shook homes near Refugio, about 160 miles southwest of Houston, reports CBS Houston affiliate KHOU-TV.

Early reports were that the shaking from the explosion was felt as far as 60 miles away.

There were no reports of injuries, and the fire was brought under control.

The cause of the blast is under investigation.
