MTV adapting "Scream" horror movies into TV series
MTV is bringing "Scream" to the small screen.
The network announced Tuesday -- just days before Halloween -- that it is turning the horror movie franchise into a television series. The goal is to put 10 episodes on the air starting next October.
It shared the news on social media by tweeting a cryptic phone number. If you call it, a voice on the other end asks, "Do you like scary TV?"
