"Mr. Robot" episode postponed after Virginia TV shooting

Cable channel USA Network postponed the season finale of drama "Mr. Robot" after the Virginia television station shooting, saying that part of the episode had similarities to Wednesday's tragedy that left three dead, including shooter Bryce Williams.

Williams shot reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward on air at a shopping mall. He later posted the videos to Facebook and Twitter.

USA stated that the season finale included a graphic scene that resembled the shooting.

"The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today's tragic events in Virginia," tweeted USA through the "Mr. Robot" account.

"Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight's episode. Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time."

"Mr. Robot" is a drama-thriller series that follows a "hacktivist" living in New York City.
