Missing Colo. pregnant mom found dead; boyfriend sought

PUEBLO, Colo. - A pregnant woman who was reported missing Friday has been found dead and authorities have issued an arrest warrant for the woman's boyfriend, reports CBS affiliate KKTV.

The body of 25-year-old Phenia Martinez, who was eight months pregnant and a mother of two, was found dead in a home in Pueblo, authorities said Tuesday. She had been reported missing on Friday, Jan. 9.

The station reports that authorities executing a search warrant Monday evening at the home she shared with her 56-year-old boyfriend, Joseph Romero, discovered her body.

An autopsy is pending but authorities say they believe she was murdered.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for second-degree murder for Romero. Authorities say his current whereabouts are unknown and he should be considered armed and dangerous, reports the station.
