Missing Indiana University student found dead
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Police confirmed Friday night that a body found in rural Brown County was that of a missing Indiana University student.
The student was identified as Hannah Wilson, 22, of Fishers, Ind. State police detectives, along with Bloomington police had been investigating the disappearance since a missing persons report was taken Friday afternoon.
A suspect, Daniel E. Messell, 49, of Bloomington was arrested in connection with Wilson's death and is being held on a preliminary charge of murder, according to Indiana State Police.
Officials had no details on the circumstances of Wilson's homicide. Any connection between the suspect and the victim was unclear.
