Mia Farrow's son's death ruled a suicide

Thaddeus Wilk Farrow’s death Wednesday was caused by a “suicide gunshot wound” to his torso, a Connecticut medical examiner’s office said Thursday.

The report noted that there was “no criminal aspect” to the death, but no other details were released.

Thaddeus, the 27-year-old son of actress Mia Farrow, was found injured in his car Wednesday afternoon “suffering from life-threatening injuries” and was taken to Danbury hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Mia Farrow adopted Thaddeus, a paraplegic and polio survivor, from Calcutta, India, in 1994.

“We’re devastated by the loss of Thaddeus, our beloved son and brother,” Mia Farrow tweeted Thursday. “He was a wonderful, courageous person who overcame so much hardship in his short life. We miss him.”
