Matt LeBlanc looking forward to sharing TV schedule with Matthew Perry this fall

This, CBS is putting together a "Friends" reunion of sorts, as Matt LeBlanc's new comedy, "Man with a Plan," will air the same night at Matthew Perry's "The Odd Couple."

And LeBlanc, for one, is fine with the maneuver. "It's funny because [CBS president] Les Moonves put us together in the first place when he ran Warner Bros., so maybe that's his plan -- maybe he's the man with the plan," LeBlanc told Variety.

LeBlanc's show was introduced at the network's Upfronts presentation Wednesday, and when it makes its debut in October, it will take an 8:30 p.m. Monday time slot, while the third season of Perry's series will air at 9:30 p.m.

LeBlanc is also open to the idea of guest-starring on "The Odd Couple" or having Perry over to join his show for an episode or two. "We'll see what happens," LeBlanc said. "My show is set in Pittsburgh, and I think his is in New York so it's not too far away, right? Just a train ride!"

The "Episodes" star also admits that he hasn't gotten fed up with the regular questions about the sitcom that put him on the map. "It was a big show. I get it," he said when asked if he gets sick of being asked about "Friends" after all these years. "I wouldn't be standing here if it weren't for that show -- why? What do you want to ask me about 'Friends?'"
