Woman pulls husband from debris after roof collapse

BETHESDA, Md.- A Maryland woman pulled her husband from debris after a tree toppled onto their home in Bethesda, causing the roof of their bedroom to cave in.

The tree fell early Sunday during a windstorm that ravaged the area. Beth Sinclair tells media outlets that the wind caused the tree to fall on their bedroom where her husband, Mark Morgan, was sleeping. She says the debris knocked him out.

Sinclair says that she pulled her husband out of the rubble and was able to carry him downstairs until help arrived.

Morgan was taken to a hospital, where he is expected to recover.

Sinclair's daughter, Emily Morgan, says she's proud of her mother's actions.
