Mark Wahlberg curses his way through MTV Movie Awards speech

Mark Wahlberg reflected on his career -- and kept the censors on their toes -- as he accepted the Generation Award at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.

The actor was given the career-achievement honor by "Entourage" stars Adrien Grenier, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara.

"I know what this really means," Wahlberg, 42, joked of receiving the award. "Many people have gotten this award before. Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston...and you know what they all have in common?...They're all [expletive] old. This is the 'You're Too [Expletive] Old to Come Back' Award."

"But you know what? It was a great run!" he added. "I'm a lucky guy in so many ways, to have worked with so many talented people, to have gone from literally being incarcerated to having a one-hit rap career to having an underwear modeling career to... I'm about to cry in a minute."

Wahlberg will be back on the big screen this summer in "Transformers: Age of Extinction," due out June 27.
