Henry Michael Gevorgyan was being booked at a LAPD station Saturday evening, a department spokesperson told CBS Los Angeles.

Two men were killed and at least one other was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle at Plummer Street and Canoga Avenue around 2:15 a.m. Thursday.

Police believe two cars were street racing when the driver of a Mustang lost control and ran into a crowd.

One of the victims was killed at the scene. The other died at a hospital.

A third man also suffered serious injuries.

Both drivers fled the scene, police said.

At a news conference Thursday, officials identified Gevorgyan as the Mustang driver.

The search continues for the second driver.
