Man slashed on New York City subway

NEW YORK -- There has been another subway slashing in New York City, reports CBS New York.

A man was slashed on the subway Friday morning in Manhattan, police said.

At around 8:15 a.m., a 53-year-old man was on the train when he bumped into another man, and an altercation ensued, according to police.

The suspect slashed the 53-year-old with a sharp object in the chin and face before taking off, reports the station.

The victim continued one more stop and then went to his office, where he called police.

The suspect is still at large.
