Madonna and Guy Ritchie planning "peace talks" over Rocco dispute

After months of legal battles over their 15-year-old son, Rocco, exes Madonna and Guy Ritchie are looking to clear the air.

The divorced parents are reportedly planning a tension-easing "peace talk" in early April, according to Us Weekly.

"There will be no lawyers," a source said.

The trouble began when Rocco ditched Madonna's "Rebel Heart" tour in December and then refused to spend the holidays with her, insisting he wanted to stay with dad Ritchie in London. The dispute escalated to the point where all three parties had lawyers representing them at hearings in both the U.K. and the U.S.

"Rocco feels that she is more concerned with proving Guy wrong than with what he wants," a source said.

But that rumored April sit-down might be more difficult that anticipated, if Ritchie's latest travel itinerary is any indication. "Madonna is pushing to resolve things, but Guy recently disappeared to the Maldives with Rocco," the source added. "He isn't resolving anything now."

While the U.K. court proceedings have been called off, the parents and child are due in a New York court June 1 if they cannot work things out between themselves before then.
