Lou Dobbs' tweet on third-party candidate Evan McMullin sparks #MormonMafia trend

It all started when Fox Business host Lou Dobbs threw out an angry tweet this weekend about Evan McMullin, the anti-Donald Trump third-party candidate making waves in the traditionally Republican state of Utah.

Dobbs, a staunch Trump supporter, seemed to be reacting to an article from right-wing website Gateway Pundit saying the independent McMullin -- who is a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints -- wants to prevent the GOP nominee from winning the White House. In his tweet, the Fox host called McMullin a Mitt Romney “Mormon Mafia Tool”:

And because the internet is a wondrous place, the #MormonMafia trend was born.
