Lorde to curate "Mockingjay - Part 1" soundtrack

Lorde is getting into the "Hunger Games" spirit once again.

The Grammy-winning singer is writing an original track for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" - and is also choosing the other songs that will appear on the set.

Lorde, 17, revealed on Facebook: "i am so pleased and proud to have been announced the sole curator of the soundtrack for the next hunger games instalment, MOCKINGJAY - PART 1 (!!!) i also wrote the first single off the soundtrack. currently jumping up and down on my hotel room bed -- i can't wait to share more of this project with you. lots of love."

She added in a statement: "Building this thing piece by piece has been amazing. I can't wait to share the other artists' contributions with you."

The "Royals" songstress did a version of Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" for the "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" soundtrack in 2013.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" will arrive in theaters on Nov. 21. A trailer for the film recently made its debut. Watch it here.
