Lea Michele remembers Cory Monteith two years later

Cory Monteith still occupies a special place in Lea Michele's heart two years after his untimely death.

The "Scream Queens" star remembered Monteith -- her "Glee" co-star and one-time boyfriend -- in a touching Twitter post on Monday.

"Today we remember the laughter and joy you brought into our lives every day. We think of you always and love you so," she wrote on the second anniversary of Monteith's death.

Monteith, who played Finn Hudson on the Fox series, died on July 13, 2013 at age 31 of an overdose.

Michele has recently been attached to Matthew Peatz, whom she thanked in May for bringing joy back into her life in an Instagram post.
