Last known surveillance images released of missing Fla. mom

HOBE SOUND, Fla. -- Authorities in south Florida have released the last known surveillance images of a Florida mother missing for nearly a week.

Tricia Todd, 33, vanished last Tuesday. According to CBS affiliate WPEC, she dropped off medication with her ex-husband for her two-year-old daughter that night. She was supposed to pick up the child early Wednesday, but she never did. She also didn't show up that day for her work at a hospice care center that day, the station reports.

A Facebook page dedicated to the search for Todd said she is an Air Force veteran.

Monday, the Martin County sheriff's office released an image of Todd taken Tuesday at a Publix grocery store in Hobe Sound. The woman is seen smiling as she picks up her groceries from a clerk.

Todd's car was reportedly found parked near her home, less than a mile north of the grocery store, according to the Palm Beach Post. The keys were in the ignition and her purse was found inside, but her wallet and cellphone were missing, Martin County Sheriff William Snyder said.

According to the paper, authorities have not found any evidence of foul play, but they're not ruling out criminal activity.

The sheriff's office interviewed Todd's ex-husband Steven Williams for a second time on Monday, reports the paper. Williams is reportedly stationed at an Air Force base in North Carolina. Police say he is cooperating with the investigation.

Law enforcement and volunteers are combing the city's dense wooded areas and residential neighborhoods in hopes of turning up clues. Authorities are also asking nearby businesses to turn over their surveillance footage, the paper reports. So far, the ground search hasn't yielded any leads.
