LAPD probes apparent burglary attempt at V. Stiviano's home

LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles police are investigating an apparent burglary attempt at the home of V. Stiviano, the woman who recorded Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist comments.

Officer Drake Madison says officers responded to Stiviano's home after received a non-emergency call at about 2:50 p.m. Monday.

Madison says officers found broken glass in the entryway of the home but there was no evidence anyone had gotten inside through a door or window.

It's being investigated as an attempted burglary. CBS Los Angeles reports authorities are working to recover fingerprints and surveillance video.

Madison says he doesn't know whether Stiviano was home at the time.
