Kristen Stewart on gender pay gap: "It's boring"

Kristen Stewart has a bone to pick with actresses like Jennifer Lawrence, who have called out Hollywood for its gender pay gap.

She says celebrities who complain about gender inequality should "go do something" instead.

"Instead of sitting around and complaining about that, do something," she told Variety at Sundance. "Go write something, go do something."

"And that's easy to say," she added, saying that the conversation "bores" her. "Like, f-k, it's hard to get movies made. It's a huge luxury. Who gets to just make movies? But that subject is just so prevalently everywhere right now, and it's boring."

The actress isn't the only celebrity to disparage the conversation. Kate Winslet called it "vulgar," and Chris Rock said gender pay gap issues pale in comparison to race issues.

Stewart was at Sundance promoting her new movie, "Certain Women."
