Kirsten Fritch’s body was found Thursday in Texas City, outside Galveston, in a wooded area north of a bar. Investigators say Fritch had been stabbed multiple times.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Fritch after her mother and younger sister were found dead in their Houston-area home Tuesday. Fritch’s younger sister, Breanna Pavlicek, 13, and their mom, Cynthia Morris, 37, were both shot to death, according to police.

Fritch’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Jesse Dobbs, was arrested Wednesday morning outside the bar near where Fritch was found. Police say Dobbs is a person of interest in the case. Fritch’s grandmother told the station he had moved in with the Baytown family, but Morris wanted him out.

Police have not charged Dobbs in connection with the deaths, but KHOU reported last week he was expected to be charged with Fritch’s murder. He is currently being held in the Galveston County jail on charges of resisting arrest.
