Watch Kermit break the news to Fozzie that "The Muppets" has been canceled

Get ready to get bummed out about "The Muppets" getting canceled all over again.

Earlier this month, ABC gave the ax to the latest TV vehicle for Jim Henson's beloved felt creations. "The Muppets" debuted last fall to mixed reviews, but critical consensus improved as the season went on. But it wasn't enough to save it from the scrap heap.

That piece of information, though, was apparently news to star Fozzie Bear, who was blindsided when pal Kermit the Frog informed him of the news at the television-centric Vulture Festival in New York.

"I will not stand for this," Fozzie insisted, to which Kermit replied, "Well, you can sit, but it's going to happen." Poor guy.
