Kentucky camper missing 11 days found alive

WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. - A camper who went missing 11 days ago was found safe.

Officials said Josh Adkins went missing August 1st while camping with his family at Koomer Ridge Campground in Wolfe County, reports CBS affiliate WKYT.

After a driver spotted him and drove him to a nearby business to call for help, he told rescuers he had been in the area the entire time, barely eating.

More than 100 rescuers and cadaver dogs had joined the search for Adkins.
