Kelly Rowland marries Tim Witherspoon in Costa Rica

Kelly Rowland is a married woman.

The singer and former Destiny's Child member wed Tim Witherspoon in a "quick, simple" ceremony in Costa Rica last week, Us Weekly reports.

Rowland's pal Beyonce was reportedly among the guests at the May 9 nuptials, as was her sister, Solange Knowles (for those keeping track, the wedding took place just days after her physical attack on Jay Z in an elevator on May 5).

Beyonce shared an Instagram photo on May 10 captioned "Good Morning," but made no mention of the wedding or whether she was a bridesmaid.

Rowland, 33, confirmed her engagement last December during an appearance on "The Queen Latifah Show."

"He put a ring on it," she said, adding, "It's been a while. We've kept it very, very low -- for years, to be completely honest."

Last month, she told CBS News she was hard at work on her fifth studio album, the follow-up to 2013's "Talk a Good Game." The new album is due out this summer.
