LA businessman sitting in Rolls-Royce shot by bicyclist

LOS ANGELES - Authorities say a real estate mogul sitting in his Rolls-Royce was shot by a gunman on a bicycle who fled the scene.

According to CBS Los Angeles, police say real estate developer Kameron Segal was shot twice Friday night - once in the face and once in the throat - while sitting in his car in Hollywood. Segal was taken to the hospital where he was in critical but stable condition.

Police are searching for the bicyclist, who is described as a black male last seen wearing a blue cap. It's unclear if the shooting was random or targeted.

Last year, CBS Los Angeles interviewed Segal after the property management and acquisitions company he works for donated six months of free rent to a homeless woman.
