"The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco weds Ryan Sweeting

Kaley Cuoco has a new husband to start off the New Year.

The 27-year-old actress wed tennis pro Ryan Sweeting, 26, Tuesday night is Southern California.

“The Big Bang Theory” star -- dressed in a pink gown -- posted the news on Instagram, writing: "Yep :) #thesweetings @ryansweething"

Cuoco and Sweeting got engaged in September, about three months after they started dating. They stepped out together publicly for the first time at the Primetime Emmy Awards. Shortly before that, Cuoco briefly dated "Man of Steel" actor Henry Cavill and was previously romantically linked to actor Johnny Galecki, her co-star on "The Big Bang Theory." In 2012, Cuoco called off her engagement to Josh Resnick, a musician and addiction specialist.
