Justin Timberlake wants you to dance like nobody's watching with "Can't Stop the Feeling"

Justin Timberlake is back with his first new music since 2013's "The 20/20 Experience -- 2 of 2," and he clearly wants to earn the Song of the Summer crown this year.

With "Can't Stop the Feeling," Timberlake ushers in the spiritual sibling to Pharrell's "Happy," which dominated pop culture two years ago after being tied to Dreamworks Animation's "Despicable Me 2." Timberlake's song, coincidentally, is on the soundtrack for that studio's next film, "Trolls."

And both tracks feature dance-happy videos featuring normal people in mundane settings busting a move to the feel good music. Timberlake's video even features a direct homage to Pharrell's, as the former *NSYNC member pushes a cart down a grocery store aisle in an nearly identical manner to how Pharrell did in the "Happy" video.

Whether all of those associations will translate into similar success is yet to be determined, but Timberlake is off to a good start: "Can't Stop the Feeling" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
