Julianne Hough not returning as "Dancing with the Stars" judge next season

Bad news for Julianne Hough fans. The "Dancing with the Stars" two-time champ and judge will not be returning to the show for the upcoming 22nd season.

Hough has served as a judge for the popular reality competition for the 19th, 20th and 21st seasons. Her departure comes on the heels of news that former judge Len Goodman would be returning, joining judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tolioni. Goodman had sat out last season due to other obligations.

"I will miss being on the panel for Season 22, but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing," Hough tells People magazine. "The pro dancers, producers and crew at 'DWTS' will always be my family. I promise it's not the last you'll see of me in the ballroom."
