Josh Hartnett, Tamsin Egerton welcome first child

Josh Hartnett, teen heartthrob of the '90s and '00s, is now a dad.

The actor, 37, and his girlfriend, Tamsin Egerton, 27, welcomed a child, according to multiple reports.

Hartnett and Egerton, who is British, were photographed leaving St. Mary's Hospital in London on Monday with a baby carrier -- photos showed a corner of a pink blanket hanging out of the carrier, which might mean that the happy couple might have had a girl.

The baby is the first child for both Hartnett and Egerton. Egerton is a model and actress; the two met on the set of 2011's "The Lovers" and began dating after starring together in the film.

The couple confirmed in July that they were expecting.

Egerton can be seen in 2016's "Grimsby" with Rebel Wilson, Isla Fisher, Penelope Cruz and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Hartnett, who is best known for the films "Black Hawk Down" and "Pearl Harbor," will appear in the upcoming movie "The Long Home" with James Franco and Ashton Kutcher. The film is slated for release in 2017.
