Texas man accused of murdering landlord
PELICAN BAY, Texas- Police in Texas have charged a 27-year-old man with murdering his 74-year-old landlord,reports CBS DFW.
Police say they responded to the victim's property at around 9:45 a.m. on Monday, and encountered Jonathan Scifres, who "clearly appeared to be under the influence of an illegal substance,"
While on the scene officers were told about a trailer on fire nearby and firefighters responded. Scifres' landlord, whose identity has not yet been released, was found dead inside the trailer.
Scifres has been charged with murder. He is being held on $100,000 bond.
