Pregnant elementary teacher killed in St. Louis apartment

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Police say a pregnant teacher Jocelyn Peters was murdered in her Central West End apartment, reports CBS St. Louis.

Officials didn't confirm it was a homicide until earlier Friday, reports the station.

Peters,30, died on Thursday. Her boyfriend reportedly found her unconscious with a gunshot wound around 3:15 Thursday afternoon -- she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police didn't recover a weapon and there was no sign of forced entry.

Peters taught at Mann Elementary School, her baby was due in about two months, reports the station.
