Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" deal extended to 2021

Expect to see a lot more lip-sync battles, thank-you notes and wheels of impressions because Jimmy Fallon has just signed for more years on "The Tonight Show."

During the Television Critics Association Press Tour on Thursday, NBC announced that Fallon will remain host of the late-night chat show until at least 2021.

Fallon, 40, took over "The Tonight Show" in February 2014 following Jay Leno's departure.

He has since brought on a slew of guests and made headlines for his musical performances.

Fallon recently experienced a bit of a setback following a hand injury that forced him to miss some episodes of "The Tonight Show." When he returned Fallon had a cast on his finger -- one that he's still currently wearing.
